Year 3 and 4 Maths Championships
Finally, the Maths Championships was back!
After 3 long years, Roberts returned with a bang as the Year 3 and 4 team safely secured their trip to the finals in June.
In a tense affair, the Roberts team had to work collaboratively to overcome many maths based challenges. The first task was '24' where the children were given 4 random numbers and had to use every number to create 24. The next was a reasoning challenge using stars in a grid which was very tricky. This was followed by a game of Pentominoes and a quickfire maths general knowledge round. Finally, it was Countdown, the round which saw Roberts excel and clinch their place in the top 2 teams to go through.
