Between the 23rd and 25th April, 55 pupils from Year 4 and staff took part in a residential at the Pioneer Centre in Cleobury Mortimer.

The children took part in a range of different group activities including: rock climbing, abseiling, raft building (where we got very wet and lost many shoes!), archery, caving, fencing, trek course, high ropes and leap of faith.  As well as this we also held a campfire and played team games.   We had to apply many of the Roberts charter learning behaviours, including co-operation, communication and resilience.

The children were well behaved, went to bed on time and most importantly gave everything a go!

Some of the comments from the children included, "I wish I could live at the Pioneer Centre", "I never thought I could climb so high" and "I'm really glad I managed to challenge and push myself!"

A special thanks to Mr Stone for organising the residential and to the other members of staff who gave up their own time and evenings to make the visit possible.
