Black Country Foodbank (December 2019)
Thank you so much to children, parents and carers for supporting the Black Country Foodbank with our Christmas collection. The food donated will continue to help local families and individuals in crisis. We collected and donated 40kg of food, enough to provide 80 meals, which is an amazing achievement!

Nursery - Christmas Event for Parents and Carers (December 2019)
The Nursery parents enjoyed a short performance of Christmas songs followed by the opportunity to make some Christmas Crafts. Each child made a range of Christmas decorations which we are sure will be used for many years to come as a lasting memory!
Year 3 Christmas Story at Himley Church (December 2019)
Year 3 were invited to Himley Road Church to take part in their Christmas Story. They listened to characters telling their part in the story and 'travelled' to different locations as the story unfolded. Everyone enjoyed the experience, watching the events take place.
Bully's Paradise (anti-bullying play) November 2019
The children participated in an anti-bullying production on the 19th November, from Firehouse productions. The show exposes the consequences of bullying, from the point of view from the bully, bullied and bystander. It helped the children to understand what bullying actually is and explains the difference between falling out and bullying.
Me Festival (November 2019)

- SMART School Council meeting - Monday 20th January 2020
Our Year 5 and 6 School Council members will meet with members from other schools to discuss what they can do to improve their surrounding area.

Year 5 get to see the wonderful Loudmouth theatre company talk through changes and growing up.

Some of our choir members visit Birmingham to sing in the mass choir for Young Voices.
- Year 4: Water Workshops with Georgina Varney - Wednesday 22nd January 2020
Year 4 find out about the importance of water and about those countries less fortunate than us who don't have clean water.
- Reception - Year 6: Mop up Vaccinations - Thursday 24th January 2020
Flu vaccinations are available for those children who did not receive their dose before Christmas.
