Children from KS2 got to watch an Internet safety play and took part in interactive workshops as part of our Safer Internet Day 2020 activities. The play, Escape, covered topics ranging from cyberbullying to the dangers of talking to strangers online and the ages that people are  allowed on certain apps and social media sites.

Children were shocked to find out that users need to be 16 to use WhatsApp and nearly all other social media services require users to be at least 13 years of age to access and use their services. This includes Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, TikTok and Musical.ly.
