Howzat for a wonderful day’s cricket!

Pupils from Years 4 and 5 took part in a Dudley schools’ cricket tournament at Stourbridge cricket ground and hit everyone for six with their team work, sportsmanship and attitude.  The sun shone down on everyone and the drinks on the pavilion ensured each player was ready when they stepped out onto the crease.  Everyone played their part and despite losing the toss in each match no one was wrong footed whether in front of the wicket or out in the field.

Roberts were up against tough opposition but the Roberts team walked off the field having taken second place – well done.  Many thanks to all parents who attended and gave ‘fab’ support to all from the boundary.
